NUS Business School Southern China Alumni Network (SCAN) is pleased to announce the opening of the NUS Shatian Hope Primary School in Suichuan County, Jiangxi Province, China. The School is established with donations from alumni and friends of the network which has its hub in Shenzhen.

The idea of supporting the rebuilding of a Hope School in rural China was first mooted in a meeting in September 2007 in Shenzhen between the School and Board members of the SCAN network. The project is spearheaded by several Chinese alumni who had wanted to help contribute to China's educational development.

While daily operations of the Hope School will be managed by the Education Bureau of Suichuan County and the school itself, NUS Business School will continue to be involved in its development through regular visits by our alumni and organized programs conducted by the School's Center for Social Entrepreneurship and Philanthropy.

国大管理学院中国校友会在江西省重建学校
开幕典礼将于2008年9月19日在遂川县举行

新加坡国立大学管理学院华南校友会很高兴宣布在中国江西省的国大沙田希望小学的正式开幕。这所学校是通过校友会的校友和他们的朋友的踊跃捐款设立的，校友会总部设在深圳。

校友会董事是于2007年9月同学校负责人开会时，萌生校友会在中国乡村地区重建一所希望小学的念头。这个计划由几名中国校友负责执行，他们都希望为中国的教育发展尽一份力。

希望小学的的日常运作将由遂川县的教育局和学校本身负责。国大管理学院也会继续通过校友定期访问学校及学院的公益创业与慈善中心举办的一些特定活动和计划参与小学的发展。
