GANO Meets with KL Alumni

Come July 2008, the alumni will be able to attend a seminar cum networking event in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

This, and other developments, was what Mr Darryl Hoo, Manager of NUS Business School Global Alumni Network Office (GANO), brought back from his trip to KL on 25 April 2008.

During the short trip, Mr Hoo met up with BBA alumni members who are working and based in Malaysia. The meeting provided the opportunity for networking, as well as for GANO to understand the activities of the KL Chapter so as to position itself better to extend its resources for the Chapter to draw upon.

There was also a discussion for the Chapter to be structured more formally in the near future.

Protem Chairman of the Chapter Mr Yeoh Cheang Teik (BBA 1981) was present at the dinner to welcome Mr Hoo. He voiced his appreciation on behalf of the KL Chapter for the school's strong support to strengthen the alumni networking, bringing them back closer to their roots in NUS.

"It was a good meeting," said Mr Yeoh. "In particular, we would like to thank Mr Daryl Hoo for coming up to KL. We are looking forward to working closely with the school to organize the KL seminar and future events."
