Job Description:: AFC Merchant Bank is a merchant bank with focus in emerging countries primarily in South East Asia. Our shareholders include major banks and financial institutions in Asean countries.

We’re looking for a trainee accountant. The candidate must have an accounting degree. Better still if the candidate has both treasury and accounting degree.

There will be on the job training in:
1) management accounting,
2) financial reporting standards,
3) regulatory reporting,
4) capital adequacy requirements,
5) stress testing,
6) basic treasury products,
7) interest rate and foreign exchange risk management.

In addition to training on the job, the candidate under this program would be sent to external courses/training for at least twenty days.
