Responsibilities:

Responsible for the delivery of a smooth registration process for all athletes participating in the Games based on the International Federations’ and International Olympic Committee’s rules and regulations for the YOG.

Support the Head of Sports Entries & Results in the planning and management of the YOG Entries Programme, including definition of technology requirements, development of policies, procedures, manual, official entry forms and publications.

Development of the Delegation Registration Process for Sports Entries in cooperation with the Accreditation and NOC Services teams

Coordinate and participate in the Delegation Registration Process for assigned regions.

Manage the progression of potential athletes who may qualify to compete through the Sports Entries & Qualification (SEQ) system and track qualified athletes from around the world through qualification events and data entry into database

Manage a large database with athletes sport specific information

Manage the technological interfaces between SEQ and other functional areas such as Technology and Accreditation.

Assist in the selection, training and management of the Entries & Results team (i.e., Site Managers, Data Entry Staff, comprising service contractors, volunteers, government attached staff).

Assist in the development and initialization of the Games Management System.

Develop post-event statistics reports.

Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

A degree from a recognised institution

Minimum 4-6 years relevant experience with a background in project management, planning, analysis and database management systems

Prior operational experience at multi-sport events preferred

Aptitude for working with technology and software application testing

Understanding of sport processes and rules as is applicable to international-level elite competition preferred

Able to work effectively in a multicultural and fast-paced environment with an emphasis on deadlines

Proficiency in French will be an advantage
